AEDNearMe is dedicated to saving lives by making it easy to locate Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in emergency situations. Every second counts during cardiac arrest, and having quick access to an AED can mean the difference between life and death.
What is an AED?
An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and can send an electric shock to the heart to try to restore a normal rhythm. AEDs are used to treat sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), a condition where the heart suddenly stops beating.
How It Works
Our app uses your location to show nearby AED devices on an interactive map. You can:
- View AED locations near you in real-time
- Get contact information for each location
- See notes about accessibility and availability
- Navigate directly to the AED location

This app relies on community contributions to maintain accurate and up-to-date information about AED locations. If you know of an AED that isn't listed, please help us by reporting it through our contact page.
